Blurry Vision And Glasses
Q: Is it normal for reading glasses to cause blurry vision when view at a distance?
My prescription reading glasses make my sight blurry (and make me nauseous) when I view things far away. Is this normal?.

A: I had the same problem as you. When I asked my doctor, he said that wearing the reading glasses was not because my eyes would get weaker but because I would get used to seeing so much clearer with the reading glasses on. You’d better visit your eye doctor to give you an eye check. Then you will get your prescription. Learn more answers.
Q: Is it normal to have blurry vision when adapting to RGP lenses?
I just got my RGP lenses fitted last Friday. After the doctor put them into my eyes , the vision seemed to be very clear, but when I took them out and cleaned and soaked them and inserted them on Saturday they seemed to be slightly blurry, is this normal?
A: Maybe it is caused by less tear production because RGP lenses tend to repel water. So people who have poor tear quality may get blurry vision when they wear GRP lenses. However, people with adequate tear production won’t suffer this problem. So you’d better try a soft contact lens instead. Learn more answers.
Q: Is it normal to have blurry vision when you take off your glasses?
When I take off my glasses, things are so blurry and I can barely see. Is this normal?
A: Yes. If you have poor vision, things will be blurry when you take off your glasses because you can’t see clearly without glasses. If your vision is not so bad, you may also get blurry vision when you take off your glasses because your eyes need time to accommodate. Learn more answers.
