I am an American and my name is Tom Lee, a sixteen year old boy. Last week I, together with my parents and my sister came to China for sightseeing. This was my first time to visit the country with a very long history. So everything was new and fresh to me there, and my family bought some traditional Chinese craftworks for memento. What amazed me most was that I found Chinese people also buy things online just like we do. And more interestingly, I bought a pair of clip-on sunglasses in China on Internet as well.
During the week-long tour in China, we visited some big cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Xi’an and Chongqing. And my last visit is Chongqing, which is well known in China as “Mountain City”, which is also called one of the “three stoves”, the other two being Nanjing in Jiangsu and Wuhan in Hubei, because of the hot weather in summer. It was hot and I could not stand it, so I decided to get a pair of sunglasses. However, in light that I was shortsighted and had to wear a pair of prescription eyeglasses, I had to buy clip on sunglasses. I came to some shops, but none met my needs. Then it occurred to me that I could purchase one on the Net, which is convenient. Surfing several websites I spotted one site, Aidai.com, which is pretty much like the website www.Firmoo.com I once used when I was at home. This Chinese website provides a variety of clip on sunglasses. I consulted the dealer about the delivery, and he said it would be reached to me within 1 day, for the company is located in Chongqing. So comparing the price, size and quality introductions I made an order.
Like others I also feared at first that I would be cheated, as in China there exist lots of “fake” products and frauds. But what happen later proved that my worry was groundless and unnecessary, the next morning I did receive the package. I opened it and found the glasses I had ordered a day ago, together with a letter of quality guarantee, which read the glasses can be replaced within 7 days if not satisfied. I was really pleased with it. At this moment I thought of the oft-quoted saying that, “Honesty is the best policy.” without which a company will be short of clients and customers, finally leading to its closedown.
My recent travel to China is indeed different and particular, for I saw and experienced a lot during my stay in the country. I will come back to China again some day.

My wife is a charming, individually dependant, and easy-going woman. I am proud of marrying her. We always give each other enough space to enjoy the private time and rarely intervene into the other’s life. But recently she is crazy in shopping on the Internet. And she always tells me the advantages of shopping online. In my opinion, one of the greatest advantages to me is I don’t need to accompany her to stroll up down the street but without anything buying. For some items, it is really worthy, as they are in high quality as sold in other stores, but at lower price. But for some, I have to say they are not good at all, especially for some clothes. It is totally different from the picture shown on the Internet. She is also angry when she receives the goods. But one thing I can not understand is she has the same crazy as before. Oh my God! I consider she has a mania for shopping on the Internet.
One of the ridiculous thing is she told me that she just placed an order on a pair of glasses from an Internet shop. “Are you crazy now?” If she just buys some daily necessities, I can understand her a little. But spectacles, we all know, are critical to our eyes’ health. On the Internet, you cannot distinguish if it is real or fake. I argued with her “I don’t blame you on buying some unsuitable goods on the Internet, anyway, it may not be good, but it can be used and not have a bad effect on our health. But glasses, they must be certified and tested, or else, they will harm to our eyes. You know?” She knew I was really angry this time. She comforted me with a kiss “Honey, you know what, this Internet shop is very good and reliable, some of my good friends all buy plastic eyeglasses and sunglasses from there. And several days ago, I saw Lucy’s newly bought glasses. Oh, it is perfect. I like it. And I also need to change a new pair. Don’t worry, there are Tips for online eyeglasses purchase, I am sure you will like it when I get it.”
Although I am still not content with this, she already bought it and any words I say will not work. About 2 weeks later, my wife put a pair of fashionable pair of glasses in front of me with great joy. After carefully checking it, I found it was not as bad as I thought. She said it was very comfortable to wear and wore it to go everywhere. Several months later, I also need to change glasses. To her joy, I also went to www.Firmoo.com to choose a pair that I love at the first sight. It is also great. From this, I think my false opinion on Internet shopping has to be changed. This successful shopping online changed my opinions on Internet shopping.

Shopping eyeglasses online provides the most convenience, which requires only a few clicks of your mouse. Yet customers still take into consideration many factors such as frame and lenses designs, materials and fittings.
Online eyeglasses sellers always list detailed products in different materials such as plastic, metal and polycarbonate, various coatings such as anti-reflective coating and UV coating. You can make your favorite decision.
Your exact pupils’ distance (PD) is needed to place the lenses in your frames, in order to set the lenses’ optical center directly in front of your eyes. The measurement of PD requires some skills, which may be presented by some online eyeglasses providers. You can follow step-by-step explanations to measure your PD in the mirror or ask your friend for help.
Headache can be caused if your lenses’ optical center is improperly placed, so that the eyeglass fitting is quite important. Excessive large frames can not rest stably on your nose, while too small frames will pinch your head sides and leave red marks on your temples. Tips from online stores can guide you to fit eyeglasses by yourself, such as measuring your head with a tape. Professional doctors can always prescribe eyeglasses with proper prescription and weight for the wearer’s comfort.
While you can try on eyeglasses in conventional stores for actual looks, some websites provide a TryItOn process, which gets the customer’s photo and superimposes his or her interested frames’ images on the photo. Other sites recommend common combinations of different face shapes and frame shapes.
Due to their fitting complexity, bifocal glasses are deliberately neglected by some online eyeglasses providers. Those websites that accept bifocals orders conduct this business on an individual basis, rather than by filling out a form. Online bifocal eyeglass purchase requires more in-depth discussion with a knowledgeable doctor.
Customers are entitled to some sorts of refund according to return policies published on the provider’s website, depending on the problems they encounter. During an online glasses purchase, no optician is available for help. But if you have keep in mind most of the required information such as your frame size, and exact prescription, online buying is convenient and delightful. For a best price, you can make a little comparison shopping by telephone, in person or online.
